Why Is BMI Important?
A BMI of 30 or more is considered obese which increases your risk for serious health issues. Examples of chronic health conditions related to obesity are type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, coronary heart disease, stroke, gallbladder disease, osteoarthritis, respiratory problems, and endometrial, breast, prostate and colon cancer.
